We Love Our Grandma

Our Grandma is the best!

She always is doing the funnest things with us. Not to mention, she helps my Mom out more than my Mom could ever repay her for.

She thinks she can't keep up, but she does great!!
I don't think we could've asked for a better Grandma because there is no better one out there.
She's beautiful!! And funny too. Sometimes she blames "things" on the dog, but I'm starting to catch on. My Grandma is so important in my life already, I can't imagine the impact she's going to have on my whole life. She's a wonderful Momma too, ya know!!

So if any of you kids out there want to give your Grandparents lessons, call up my Grandma!! She is simply the BEST!!!

WE LOVE YOU GRAMMIE!!!!

{See the smile she puts on our faces!}

When I wore the green pants to school, of course the bright green coat is all I had that was warm, so I had to wear that too. We all know how kids can be!! I was called the Jolly Green Giant. (Cruel Joke) Who believes in Santa anyway?!!

10. Name someone you look up to...

There are so many people in different parts of my life that have been critical in helping me through difficult times. But I will have to say that the person that I look up to is MY MOM!! She has endured many difficult times in her life, Many challenges in Marriages, She has always worked 2 or 3 jobs to support us. She always gave me encouragement to keep on going and has always made me feel important, like I was the best person ever no matter how many times I may have disappointed her. She will always be the "The Wind Beneath My Wings". Thanks to her I have endured many struggles and trials that has made me the person I am today.

I Love You Mom (Melva Richens) You will be a blessed person to get to know her!!

Our Favorite Family Pastime

In past few years, each member of our family has been certified in Scuba Diving. We have been able to take some really awesome Scuba Diving trips including, Hawaii, Roatan, Cozumel and most recently Catalina Island.

First we gear up!!! Doesn't Cayton look cute in his wet suit??
This was Dallins first dive in the ocean. It was a little disorienting to him. It made his nose bleed and his teeth hurt. So as you can tell he wasn't a very happy diver...but it hasn't stopped him!!

These are some underwater pictures and the things we get to experience and see going under the water 60 feet.......

(Underwater Photos, Courtesy of Cayton Lee Ortiz)

We stayed on the boat called THE GREAT ESCAPE for 3 days. This is Taylor with the 'Ship Dog'. Taylor didn't dive this year, so she spent her time bonding with the dog.

When you go Scuba Diving, your day consists of sleeping, eating, and diving.
Sleep, Eat, Dive. Sleep, Eat, Dive.
As you can see, Chris has it all down!!

We are anxiously awaiting our trip next summer to.....
THE CARRIBEANS
(My favorite Dive Spot)
